New EO assumes office in TT Devasthanam

Mr. L V Subramanyam today assumed office as new Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirumala Devasthanam which manages the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near Tirupati.

Temple sources said Mr. Subramanyam would be at the helm of affairs for two years at TTD which has an annual income of Rs 1600 crore.

The incumbent I Y R Krishna Rao has now been made Principal Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment in the State.

Mr. Subramanyam earlier worked as Principal Secretary, Finance, Andhra Pradesh.

TTD Joint Executive Officer K S Srinivasa Raju administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Subramanyam at a brief function held at the sanctum sanctorum.
