National start-up centre mooted at Amaravati

The CII has grand plans for Amaravati. It will be setting up a national start-up Centre dedicated to promotion of non-IT rural entrepreneurship, a CII University on the lines of Indian School of Business at Hyderabad, and an international convention centre over the next few years.

Besides, it has entered into a formal understanding with the Government of Andhra Pradesh for improving 10 public and private universities in the State to global standards.

CII A.P Vice-Chairman and CEO of Better Castings Pvt. Ltd J.S.R.K. Prasad disclosed these details in the interactive session with Malaysian businessmen here on Tuesday.
