Naidu likely to visit Thullur today

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu arrived by a special flight here on Wednesday night to participate in the New Year celebrations in the city. Mr. Naidu proceeded straightaway from Gannavaram airport to a star hotel where a host of party functionaries were awaiting him. After exchanging pleasantries, he left for the State guesthouse where he will stay for the night.

The Chief Minister is likely to visit Thullur on Thursday morning to interact with farmers in the capital region.

According to officials, Mr. Naidu is slated to have a darshan of Kanaka Durga atop Indrakeeladri and Sri Venkateswara temple at Labbipet.

He is expected to meet public representatives, party leaders and cadre as also the general public in the morning. He will leave for Chataparru, the native of party MPs M. Venkateswara Rao and M. Muralimohan, in West Godavari district later in the afternoon to participate in the New Year celebrations. The Chief Minister will arrive at Gannavaram airport late in the evening en route to Hyderabad, according to officials.
