July 06, 2013 02:13 pm | Updated 02:21 pm IST - VIJAYAWADA:

Stamps and Registration department Vijayawada range DIG K. Lakshminarayana Reddy on Friday said people should make use of the ‘Anywhere Registration’ scheme launched by the Government.

In a statement, Mr. Reddy said unlike in the past when people had to get their sale deeds, mortgage and other documents registered only at the sub-registrar office where its jurisdiction falls, ‘Anywhere Registration’ enables property owners to register property in any of the Sub-Registrar Offices (SROs) within the district.

Similarly, registrations of properties in purview of sub-registrar offices at Gandhinagar, Patamata, Nunna, Ibrahimpatnam, Kanchikacharla, Nandigama and Jaggaiahpet, which fall under the purview of the district registrar office, can be registered at any of these offices. The facility has several advantages such as convenience and simplification of the process, he said.
