Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications for various open and distance learning programmes for its July session. The filled-in applications have to be sent before June 20 without late fee and July 31 with a late fee of Rs. 300.
Programmes being offered are Masters and Bachelor Degree programmes in Computer Applications, M.A Rural Development, Tourism Management, English, Hindi, Education, Public Administration, Social Work, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology and Psychology, M.Com, M.Sc in Dietetics and Food Services, Bachelor of Computer Applications, B.A Political Science, History, Economics, Mathematics, Public Administration, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, English, Hindi, Tourism Studies, Library and Information Sciences, B.Com and B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology and Botany.
The University has also invited applications for various diploma and certificate programmes. Student hand books and prospectus can be obtained from IGNOU Regional Centre in the city (at Kothapet, phone numbers 086-2565253/2565959) by paying Rs 200.
