The South Central Railway (SCR) has decided to hold a crucial meeting of Members of Parliament (MPs) to prioritise the pending works under its jurisdiction. SCR GM P.K. Srivastava will be convened the meeting here on January 6 to discuss with MPs from Vijayawada, Guntur and Guntakal divisions issues like pending Railway lines, doubling works and improvement of passenger amenities at different stations. Kotipalli-Narsapur, Machilipatnam-Repalle, Kovvur-Bhadrachalam and Macherla-Nalgonda lines, doubling of Vijayawada-Narsapur and Tenali-Guntur lines and construction of a circulating station in Vijayawada will be discussed in the meeting.
