S. Nagalakshmi, Municipal Commissioner, Guntur.

Municipal Commissioner S. Nagalakshmi said here on Tuesday that the Guntur Municipal Corporation would take all the necessary steps in compliance with the High Court order over demolition of additional floors of unauthorised constructions.

Ms. Nagalakshmi said orders for the demolition of additional floors have been issued by Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration Department.

The High court recently delivered a judgment imposing a fine of ₹2,000 and an imprisonment of one month to the owner of a building on Old Club Road and the Municipal Commissioner after taking a serious view of contempt of its earlier order.
