The Telugu Kala Samithi, Kuwait, is inviting applications for Telugu social drama script writing competition for the year 2015. The samithi has been conducting the competition for the past three years and has been awarding cash prizes for the best scripts.
The objective behind conducting the competition was to promote script writing skills, especially on social issues among people and the same could be enacted as a drama in theatre. The entries should be sent to through post or courier to Swamy, D.No 54-1-6 (G), North Railpet, Ongole 01. Last date for sending entries is August 25. First prize would be Rs.20,000 cash, while second and third prizes would be Rs.15,000 and Rs.10,000, besides three consolation prizes of Rs.5,000 each, said a press release.
