A ‘bus yatra’ by a battery of entrepreneurs, who have thrown their weight behind the TDP, arrived in the city on Friday. The entrpreneurs, led by noted industrialist J.A. Chowdary, are covering Seemandhra in support of the party. They also interacted with students and local business community from city.

They urged people to vote and elect an able leader with a vision. “Seemandhra, the residuary of Andhra Pradesh, will have to start from the scratch. The new State will face umpteen number of problems, including a deficit budget of Rs. 7,000 crore plus. The deficit would be much higher if pensions were to be paid. It will be a huge task for the new government to develop infrastructure with funds at their disposal,” they said.

It is also necessary to create a congenial atmosphere for the promotion of industry. The State requires a credible leader who can work in tandem with entrepreneurs. “The youth should be provided employment opportunities, for which establishing industries is a must in the Seemandhra region,” they said.
