The car driver and his associate robbed Rs. 20,000 from Subba Rao and Rs. 9,000 from another co-passenger at gun point.

The duo sped away after giving Rs. 100 to Subba Rao to reach home by some other mode of transport. He complained to the police on Tuesday. The co-passenger, however, did not lodge any complaint.
