Students of various colleges performed shows on patriotism and national integrity and explained how the Indian culture was changing fast in the society. They presented folk, film and break dances and enthralled the audience.
The youngsters exhibited their talent in The Hindu Education Plus Inter Collegiate E-Plus Club Challenge-2013 State Level Competitions, held at P.B. Siddhartha Arts and Science College Auditorium on Monday.

Students from nearly 30 institutions from all over the State participated in the event. The skits on increasing violence against women and girls, deforestation and the need to protect environment and on how some media were spoiling the youth, impressed the visitors.
The folk dance performed by RVRJC College, Guntur, on how ‘cockfights’ were ruining families attracted one an all at the venue. The wives explained their husbands on how they lost their jewellery, and the family was suffering, and convinced them from organising cockfights at the end of the show.
A skit enacted by Guntur Medical College students on how AIDS, TB and other diseases were killing people and the steps to prevent the cause of the dreaded diseases received good response from the visitors.

Students of CR Reddy College and Vignan University sang songs depicting different types of dances and variation of cultures. They also explained on how the mother earth is getting destroyed and creating unrest among the people. Young engineers of Khammam Institute of Technology and Sciences performed a skit on the increasing crime against women, and the agony of the bereaved families.
There was a huge applause from the students when the youth performed classical dance blended western music.
