The Hindu Metro Plus, in association with Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil, will host a cookery contest ‘Vantalapoti' on Sunday (25th March) at DV Manor Food Plaza. The contest will commence at 10 a.m. The competition is being held exclusively for women above 18 years and there is no entry fee. Each participant can bring only one dish either in vegetarian, non-vegetarian or deserts category. No side or accompanying dishes will be entertained. In such cases, the entry will be disqualified. Participants must cook at home and present the dish at the venue. Cooking at the venue will not be allowed. The recipe of the dish should be neatly typed or written and submitted to the judges when asked by them at the contest table and judging of the dishes will be based on factors like colour, texture, presentation, taste, aroma, consistency and innovation.
