Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the ‘Praja Rajadhani – Amaravati Nirmana Sankalpam’ programme at his native village Naravaripalle village in Chittoor on Tuesday.
According to a GO (No. 3076) issued on Monday, as part of the Praja Rajadhani - Mana Neeru - Mana Matti programme scheduled for October 13, 14 and 15, people will collect soil in cloth bags and clean water in copper kalasams from villages.
These materials will be gathered in mandal headquarters and municipal offices on October 16 and they will be taken in colourful processions to respective Assembly constituency headquarters on October 17.

The special vehicles will join in district headquarters and move together on October 18 or 19th morning and reach the place opposite Acharya Nagarjuna University by 5 p.m. on October 19.
The vehicles will be flagged off to Amaravati by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on October 20.

On October 21, soil and water brought from villages will be mixed with holy waters from all major rivers in India and will be used during the foundation laying function and also in the construction of various public buildings in Amaravati.

People are asked to collect 1 kg soil from each village in yellow colour bags and 250 ml of water in copper vessels. Besides, each village will send Amaravati – Praja Rajadhani Nirmana Sankalpa Patram, along with water and soil which will be used there in construction of the ‘Tree of Life’ monument in the riverfront city square later.
The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has been vested with the responsibility to receive the soil, water and Jyothis and keep them in safe custody.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister asked MLAS, MLCs and TDP leaders to participate in the 5k and 10k runs in their respective towns on Sunday .
