CM promises land for Gayatri Pariwar in Amaravati

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asserted that blessings of people from all walks of life is needed for construction of Capital city Amaravati.

Mr. Naidu took part in Aswamedha Gayatri maha yagya being conducted by the Gayatri Pariwar at Mangalagiri near here on Monday.

The four-day yagya came to a conclusion with poornahuti.

On the occasion, Mr. Naidu assured the Gayatri Pariwar that the government would allot sufficient land to it to set up its south India head office.

The power and energy that emanates from yagya would be useful for the Amaravati, he said, adding, “we need the blessings everyone for the ‘maha sankalpam’ called Amaravati.”

Mr. Naidu stressed the need for protection of nature, agriculture and water. The government was organising ‘Jalasiri ki Harati’ to create awareness among people on conserving water resources.

Civil Supplies Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao, Deva Samskriti Viswavidyalaya Vice-Chancellor Acharya Chinmaya Pandya and others were present.
