Staff of P.B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Science conducted Parents Meet on the college premises on Monday. They, on the occasion, appraised parents about the performance of their wards, besides giving them tips on how to improve their talent.

Faculty members interacted with each parent by showing the ‘Performance Appraisal Form’ of the student. They also discussed the marks gained by students in internal examinations, besides assessing their progress.

Displaying the absentees and late comers lists before the elders, principal M.V.N. Padma Rao asked parents to see that their son or daughter attend college regularly. Parents should also enquire with the staff on whether the student was attending for all periods or not.

“We will explain the behaviour of the student in the class room and their gasping power in the subject. But, parents should take care of their child at home and enquire about the schedule in the college,” said Mathematics lecturer G. Swetha.

“Parents meet will bridge the gap between the parents, students and the institute management. The staff will keep a watch on each student, marks scored and his/her progress from time to time. We request the parents to spend some time with their wards at home,” said college director Vemuri Babu Rao.
