Mild tension prevailed at Singhnagar after residents took strong objection to dumping of chicken pieces by a vehicle driver on the main road. The locals prevented the vehicle driver from dumping chicken pieces stating that it would spread bird flu in the area.
The chicken pieces are suspected to have been brought to Singhnagar after customers failed to purchase them following outbreak of bird flu in a village in Telangana a few days ago.
