Bajaj Auto has launched Baja Boxer 150 positioning it as ‘Bharat bike'. The ex-showroom price of Boxer-BM 150 is Rs.43,009. The BM-150, under ideal conditions, would give a mileage of 60 kmpl, according to Bajaj Auto Ltd zonal manager (Hyderabad) Amit Pawar.

Addressing media on Saturday, Mr. Pawar said that the BM 150 was designed to provide a comfortable riding experience in all kinds of demanding situations.

The new model was aimed at reaching out to customers beyond big cities and towns.

A significant segment of customers in the smaller towns need a powerful, rugged utility bike.

The boxer has been designed as an SUV on two wheels to specifically meet their requirement, he said.

The focus of bike is on performance with a bigger engine, frame, tyres, suspension, headlights, and seat.
