Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala (Degree) on Thursday presented various awards to outstanding students of the institution.
The crowning award –Parvathaneni Brahmayya Memorial Gold Medal, instituted by Sri Parvathaneni Brahmayya Memorial Trust for the best B.Com student was given to R.V. Durga Naga Sai (English medium). Shaik Khaja (MPCS) bagged the Sri Garapati Venkateswara Rao gold medal for excellence in degree science group, T. Radhika (English medium) was selected for Smt. Adusumilli Sakunthala Devi Medal instituted by A.K. Mohana Rao for the best student in Arts.
The Vijayawada Social Club and Literary Society Gold Medal for outstanding performance in BSC group went to Uppala Sri Lakshmi Durga, Kaja Venkateswara Rao gold medal was bestowed on Shaik Khaja Muswareen of B.Sc for her outstanding performance in Hindi (2008-2011).

Jaladi Suguna Memorial gold medal for the best outgoing student from degree went to K. Aruna Kumari of BA final year (2009-2012).
In the inter-college category, Parvathaneni Brahmayya Memorial Gold Medal went to Mohammed Arifa Sultana while Konkimalla gold medal was given to P. Lakshmi Swetha of senior MPC group.
R. Naga Lakshmi bagged Babu Rao's Scholarship for outstanding performance in Arts group and N. Swetha of senior MPC group and State ranker P. Priyanka who secured 97.6 per cent in junior inter were adjudged Best Outgoing Students.
