Dassault Systemes, a European company, offers its expertise

: Dassault Systemes, a European 3D experience company, has come forward offering its complete virtual platform 3DEXPERIENCity for building world-class smart city Amaravati and other smart cities in Andhra Pradesh. Dassault Systemes Managing Director-India Dr. Chandan Chowdhury on Tuesday showcased the 3DEXPERIENCity, a virtual platform for smart city aiming at federating all initiatives of sustainable and efficient availability of energy, water, transport, education, and health care. Addressing a press conference here Dr. Chandan said, “AP government’s efforts for developing Amaravati as a smart city are commendable and we would feel privileged to contribute to the government’s initiative.”

He said that they have discussed the same with officials who responded positively.

Dr. Chandan said DS is already working with a State that is aiming to become hub of aerospace industry in India. DS is also creating a digital version of Singapore city for National Research the Foundation (NRF), Singapore, he added. He said 3DEXPERIENCity can be leveraged to manage the new capital project effectively.

He said collaboration with DS can also help academia in the region where students and researches would get an opportunity to have a glimpse and also work on the world’s advanced technologies.

Foundation for Futuristic Cities president Karuna Gopal stressed the need for technology as well as urban design to create a perfect sustainable, liveable and inclusive smart city. Ms. Karuna also a city with no economic development can never be a smart city.
