Akhila lodges complaint against Jagan

Minister for Tourism Bhuma Akhila Priya and TDP leaders lodged a complaint with Returning Officer for the Nandyal by-election Prasanna Venkatesh on Friday evening against Leader of the Opposition Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy alleging that he made derogatory and objectionable remarks against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and violated the model code of conduct.

Ms. Akhila Priya, district TDP president Somisetty Venkateswarlu, Nandyal parliamentary constituency in charge S. Goverdhan Reddy and Urdu Academy Chairman Nouman said in their three-page complaint that Mr. Jagan’s remarks reflected his bent of mind and spread fear psychosis among the people of Nandyal. They sought action against Mr. Jagan, who declared that he would camp at Nandyal from August 9 to 21 to infuse confidence among the people.
