Officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) trapped Vuyyuru Nagar Panchayat Manager P. Radhakrishna while he was allegedly taking a bribe of Rs.8,000 from a municipal worker on Tuesday.
According to ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police V. Gopala Krishna, the accused manager demanded the amount from B. Yesu for recommending him to promote as sanitary professional.
Following a complaint, the ACB inspectors Srinivas, Nagaraju and Venkateswarlu along with their staff caught Radhakrishna while accepting the amount at his office, said the DSP.

The accused would be produced before the ACB Court in Vijayawada, Mr. Gopala Krishna added.
