Youth must take up programmes aimed at serving society by understanding their responsibility towards the nation and its people, which would mould them into a towering personality in their chosen fields, said Institute of Applied Manpower faculty member Kesana Srinivasa Rao.
Delivering a lecture at the awareness programme organised by the Medical and Cultural Association of Repalle on Monday, the Joint Chief Faculty of the New Delhi-based institute supported by the Planning Commission, said that youth must mould themselves into towering personalities to help society emulate their model.
Leading the society should be their basic aim while learning in the colleges, he opined. He gave some tips to about 150 students from various colleges who attended the meeting at the Guttikonda Lakshmi Narayana Community Centre in the town.

Basic to success was proper planning and strict adherence to the plan in academics, which would fetch them good results, the professor said. He had been teaching IAS trainees at the Lal Bahadur Sastry National Academy of Administration.
