Students and staff of Sri Chaitanya Day Scholars Mahila Kalasala switched over to a spiritual mode on Friday.

The college’s Eeswari Nilayam campus, besides Eenadu, exuded an air of divinity with the girls taking active part in a Viswa Kalyana Yagnam, organised for world peace. The event also coincided with the Freshers’ Day celebrations.

Mayor, M.V. Ratna Bindu, who was the chief guest, said such events would help the girls acquire inner peace and strength. She complimented the college management for helping students connect to their inner-self, even while pursuing their academic pursuits.
