IEI to host panel discussion on Budget

The Institute of Engineers (India), Vijayawada centre will host a panel discussion on Union Budget 2010-11 at K.L. Rao Bhavan at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

“We intend to involve people from different fields in the discussion to elicit the general impression on the budget,” M.R.S. Prakasa Rao, chairman of the Institute told a press conference on Friday.

G.V.V. Satyanarayana, the South India Regional Council Member of Chartered Accountants Association, Vijayawada will be the moderator while former Agriculture Minister Vadde Sobhanadreeswara Rao, former Joint Commissioner of Income Tax S. Pulla Rao, president of the Vijayawada Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gaddam Subba Rao, president of The Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry Muthavarapu Muralikrishna, president of the Andhra Pradesh Small Industries Association Y.V. Krishna Mohan and president of the Krishna District Lorry Owners' Association Potluri Raghavendra Rao will be the panel members.

The meeting was open for public participation, Mr. Rao said. Y. Durga Prasad, manager of the Institute was also present.
