Heavy rain lashed the city on Monday evening causing traffic jams. A majority of the roads in the city despite being repaired recently got waterlogged creating trouble for people who are on their way back to homes from schools, colleges and offices.
On the other hand, the rainfall caused stoppage of road repair works and other developmental works related to Krishna Pushkarams.
Motorists at Siddhartha Nagar, Autonagar, Moghalrajpuram, M.G. Road, One Town and other areas were subjected to difficulty due to inundation of roads. It was double trouble for the motorists on the roads which are currently under repairs.

Meanwhile, the sudden downpour caused concern to the authorities as carrying out developmental works at Pushkar ghats may get delayed.
