Business graduates are going to have tremendous opportunities in the coming 5-10 years as the manufacturing and services sectors will drive the economy, said Dean of Institute of Public Enterprise, M.L Saikumar.
Addressing students of JKC College here during a seminar on “Emerge MBA,” organised by the Institute of Public Enterprise in association with The Hindu here on Monday, Dr. Sai Kumar said after a lull period during which Indian economy grew at 5-6 per cent, the economy is set for a revival and could grow at a healthy 7-8 per cent in the coming years.
A graduate business programme in prestigious B-school like, IPE, would enable the students a better understanding of business rules, team work and analytical issues and shape them for a career in industry or help them turn into entrepreneurs.

“Think big, start small and scale fast,” is the three-fold mantra students should keep in mind as they plan for their careers, he said.
Assistant director, PG section, P.B Siddartha Arts and Science College, Rajesh C. Jampala said that out-of-box thinking has enabled some entrepreneurs to leave a lasting impression.
Taking the example of Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Inc, Mr. Rajesh said that Steve Jobs, though was forced to exit from the company he founded, kept innovating forcing his peers to accept him.

sThe iconic devices he designed like iPhone, iPad later revolutionised the communication technologies.
“You have loads of information at the click of a mouse. Keep pursuing your passion and have a vision for future,” he said.
