Bajaj launches new three-wheeler cargo vehicle

Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL) Deputy General Manager (Sales) M. Narasimhan launched Maxima C, the company’s latest offering from its three-wheeler cargo vehicle stable, here on Friday. With a 447 CC engine and 23 NM torque, the diesel vehicle is touted as India’s most powerful 3W cargo carrier.

Addressing the media, Mr. Narasimhan said the vehicle provides maintenance - free power coupling up to 1,00,000 km and a sturdy suspension that reduces the risk of vehicle and goods getting damaged. The engine power of Maxima C is 12 per cent more than other vehicles in the category.

He said Bajaj 3W has already won the hearts of 3.6 million customers and Maxima C consolidates the company’s position in the commercial vehicle segment where its closest competitor is Piaggio. Maxima C vehicles come with a price tag of Rs.1.88 lakh. BAL regional manager P. Raghava Rao spoke.
