Women police personnel learn stress management

The ways of managing stress and the tips on maintaining good physical health were driven home to women police personnel of Tiruchi district police here on Wednesday.

A psychiatrist and resource persons were roped in for the stress management programme organised by the Tiruchi district police at the Armed Reserve ground in Subramaniapuram.

The two-hour long programme was attended by women police officers and constables from various police stations and District Armed Reserve.

Superintendent of Police S. Rajeswari presided over the programme.

The participants were explained the techniques of managing stress, the ways to get over pressure and keep themselves relaxed, the food habits to be maintained in their daily schedule and the importance of physical exercises to keep them mentally and physically fit.

Around 210 policewomen took part in the programme, a police release here said.
