Southern Railway has announced the following changes in the pattern of train services on March 3 (Tuesday) because of signalling work between Chengalpattu and Villupuram for commissioning the double line interlocking arrangements in the Tindivanam – Thozhupedu section.
The Tiruchi–Chennai Egmore Express (16854) is rescheduled to leave Tiruchi at 11.05 a.m. instead of 9.35 a.m. It will arrive at Chennai Egmore at 7.40 p.m.
The Chennai Egmore–Madurai Vaigai Express (12635) is rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 3.20 p.m. instead of 1.20 p.m.

The Pune–Tiruchi special (06802) will be regulated for two hours in the Chengalpattu– Villupuram section, a Southern Railway release said.
