Tiruchi East taluk to get the taste of e-governance from today

The e-governance project will be extended to the Tiruchi East taluk in the district from Wednesday. Residents in the taluk could henceforth get essential certificates from the Revenue Department from the designated Hope Centres run by the Tiruchi Corporation, Collector Jayashree Muralidharan said in a press release.

Ms.Muralidharan said the project was successfully implemented in Srirangam, Tiruchi West, Tiruverumbur, and Marungapuri taluks and is now being extended to Tiruchi East.

Applicants can get community, income, nativity, first-generation graduate, and widow certificates from the Hope Centres. Applications along with necessary supporting documents can be submitted on all working days and till 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The certificates would be issued at the centres where the applications had been registered.

Residents of wards 8-12 can get the certificates from the Hope Centre situated near the Ibrahim Park and those from wards 13 and 16-18 can get the same from the Hope Centre located near Beerangikulatheru, Big Bazaar Street. For wards 14 and 15 and 19-22, the certificates would be issued at the Hope Centre near the Overhead Water Tank at Viragupettai. Residents of wards 7, 28, 29, and 61 should apply at the Hope Centre at North Ukkadai. The Hope Centre at Subbaiah Street, Sangiliandapuram, would issue the certificates for residents in wards 23-27 and 33 and the one at Mela Kalkandarkottai would issue the certificates for applicants from wards 30,31, and 36. Residents of wards 34, 35, 27 and 38 should apply at the Hope Centre at Khajamalai Colony, the release said.
