Three more patients tested positive for COVID-19 infection in central districts on Tuesday.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Tiruvaur registered two cases followed by Tiruchi and Mayiladuthurai with one case each.
No fresh case was recorded in Thanjavur, Karur, Pudukottai, Ariyalur, Perambalur and Nagapattinam.
