The Hindu Young World Rhapsody summer music begins today

The Hindu – Young World presents rhapsody summer music 2016, an annual innovative music workshop for children, conducted by pianist Anil Srinivasan and his team at Rhapsody headed by pedagogue Dr. Sudha Raja. The venue is Kangaroo Kids School, 5-E/1, Ramachandrapuram, 11th Cross, Thillai Nagar East, Tennur, Tiruchi.

The schedule will be from April 25 to 30 for the first batch and from May 2 to 7 for the second batch.

The workshop will focus on use of music as a tool to unlock mind towards maths, sciences, creativity and languages.

Classes are held by musicians specialised in learning through music. Group songs, activities and craft work add to this unique concept to make it a fruitful period for children.

Children will be given certificates and will showcase their talent at the valediction of the camp. Selected students will be a part of the Voices-in-Harmony Challenge, to be held on June 21 in Chennai.

Course fee is Rs.1,500 and the duration is one week.
