Territorial Army recruitment from Sept. 25

The 117 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army), The Guards, will conduct a recruitment rally for the posts of soldier (general duty), tradesman (chef community) and tradesman (hair dresser) here from September 25 to 30.

The rally will be held at the unit’s Army Training area at Khajamalai.

Candidates should be in the age group 18 to 42 years and gainfully employed in government /semi government /private sector or self-employed.

Candidates should bring along with them school character certificate, 12 passport size colour photographs, nativity /permanent residence certificate, caste certificate and character certificate.

NOC

They should bring a No-Objection Certificate from their respective employer.

They would have to undergo medical examination prior to the enrolment.

Candidates must be resident of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharastra, Rajasthan, Goa and the Union Territories of Pondicherry, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Lakshadweep, according to a press release.
