K. Priyanka, a child afflicted with cerebral palsy, made an attempt to figure in the Limca Book of Records on naming day and date of 90 years.

She made the attempt at Sri Ramakrishna Middle School here on Tuesday, where she is studying class 8. The feat was witnessed by the office-bearers of Youth Exnora International, Indian Red Cross Society, Tiruchi branch, and the management, staff members, and students of the school. She astonished those witnessed the event by answering date, day, and month of a particular year anywhere between 1941 and 2050.

Priyanka, who has received the National Award for Best Creative Child with Disabilities from President Pranab Mukherjee at a function held in Rashtrapati Bhavan recently, gave instant reply to those who tested her ability with a variety of sample questions. While some of them tested her by asking the day of their date of birth, some others asked her to find out important days in a particular year and month.

Her feat has been immediately chosen for figuring in the Jettly Book of Records. A certificate was handed over to Priyanka by its founder.

P.K. Seenivasan and T. Vedhanarayanan, Correspondent and Head Master of Sri Ramakrishna Middle School, Puthur, said it was a proud moment not only for Priyanka but also to the school. Her achievement would be sent to the Limca Book of Records along with evidence.
