Shaastra Junior Quiz

A preliminary round of ‘Shaastra Junior Quiz,’ hosted under the auspices of Shaastra, the technical festival of Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, will be held here on July 11. The quiz aims at exposing young minds to the world of technology and innovation. The quiz will have two rounds, the first being a written one and the second a quizzing round. The top two teams will get to participate in the national level quiz to be held in January during Shaastra. The top three teams will get certificates and winners of the national quiz will drive away with certificates and exciting prizes.

The quiz is open to students of standards VIII-XII. Schools can send any number of teams (consisting of two members) and the registration will be done on-spot free of cost. The quiz will be held from 9 am to 1 pm at Kamala Niketan Montessori School, Collector’s Office Road here on July 11, according to a press release.
