Delay in shifting the shop irks them

A group of residents of Thuvakudimalai on the city’s outskirts vent their ire over the functioning of a TASMAC outlet in their area by laying siege to the shop on Thursday.

They resorted to the step after their repeated requests to shift the shop situated along Akbar Salai failed to elicit any response from the officials.

Irked over the delay in shifting the shop, a group of residents sat in front of the shop demanding that the outlet be relocated immediately.
