Rally on child sexual abuse taken out

Members of the Young Indians chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Tiruchi zone, and students of the M.A.M. Group of Institutions took out an awareness rally on child sexual abuse in the city.

The rally on ‘Child Sexual Abuse: Education and Prevention,’ was taken out from the Railway Junction to the Collector Office’s via the Central Bus Stand in the city. About 650 students, carrying placards and raising slogans, sought to sensitise people on the need to prevent child sexual abuse. The rally was flagged off by M.S.Ashraf, former National Vice President, Indian Medical Association.
