Hall tickets for supplementary examination

Private candidates who have applied for the SSLC special supplementary examination to be held in June/July 2015 can download their hall tickets from the websitewww.tndge.in

Candidates can download the hall tickets by clicking the link “SSLC exam June/July 2015 – private candidate – hall ticket print out.” They would have to provide the March 2015 registration number and date of birth. Candidates who had failed in the practical examinations should compulsorily appear for the practical examination again, according to a press release.

New RTO building inaugurated

A new building for the Thuraiyur Unit Office of the Regional Transport Office was declared open by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa through video conference from Chennai on Thursday. The RTO Unit Office, under the Srirangam RTO jurisdiction, has been functioning from a rented building till now. The new building was constructed on a 3.76 acre site in front of Imayam College of Arts and Science. The office, with a plinth area of 5,390 square feet, has been built at a cost of Rs.94.45 lakhs. The unit office has amenities such as testing track, waiting area and toilets.

Constable recruits

to pass out today

After undergoing training for a period of seven months, a total of 177 constable recruits will pass out from the Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) V Battalion here. A ceremonial passing out parade will be held at the RPSF Battalion at Khajamalai here on Friday. The Inspector General-cum-Chief Security Commissioner, Railway Protection Force, Southern Railway, B. Mohan will inspect the parade and take the salute. The constable recruits who underwent training in different subjects including handling of different types of weapons will be posted to different RPSF Battalions situated across the country after the passing out parade event.
