Govt. school headmasters felicitated for 100 per cent pass

Fourteen government schools, 12 aided and 36 self-financing schools in the district have achieved cent per cent results.

Headmasters of 14 government schools in the district which had achieved cent per cent result in the Plus Two examinations were felicitated by District Collector K.S. Palanisamy here on Friday.

Fourteen government schools, 12 aided and 36 self-financing schools in the district have achieved cent per cent results in the Plus Two examinations this year.

All the students who appeared for the exams from the government higher secondary schools at Ayyampalayam, Vazhaiyur, Perumalpalayam, Moovanur, Pappapatti, Top Sengattupatti, Thiruchendurai, Thenaeripatti, Poonkudi, Thuvakudi, and Onthampatti and the Adi Dravida Welfare Higher Secondary School, Thiruvasi, Corporation Higher Secondary School, East Boulevard Road, and the Government Higher Secondary School for the Blind, Puthur, have passed.

Speaking after felicitating the heads of these schools, Mr. Palanisamy urged to continue their good work in the coming year too. He called upon them to promote the reading habit among students of class 6 to 9.

N.Anandhi, Chief Educational Officer, and Vasantha, Inspector of Matriculation Schools, were present.
