Girls fare well in Krishnagiri

The district has secured a pass percentage of 85.99 in the Plus Two results released on Tuesday.

Girls have scored higher with 90.61 per cent, while boys have scored 81.25 per cent. Students of over 159 schools appeared in the board exams.

Plus Two results here have churned two State I ranks. Aarthi V and Jeshwanth K H of Sri Vidya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Uthangarai, have emerged State I with 1195 marks. Naveen Kumar S with 1191 marks; Pavithra N with 1190 marks; Lingasay P with 1190 marks and Rajasekaran V with 1190 marks have emerged as second and third district toppers. All toppers are from Sri Vidya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Uthangarai.

Govt. school toppers

The district wise toppers among government schools are Nirgunan of R.V.Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Hosur, with 1166 marks; followed by Krishnapriya P of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Krishnagiri with 1163 marks; and Sabeeha S of Muthamizh Government Higher Secondary School, Arasampatty with 1161 marks.
