Counselling for NIT-T admission resumes in Tiruchirapalli

The counselling will fill vacant seats of B. Arch and B. Tech in NIT-T. It has been undertaken with a Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) constituted by the Government of India.

The second phase of admission process for National Institute of Technology for the current year began on Wednesday.

The counselling will fill vacant seats of B. Arch and B. Tech in NIT-T. It has been undertaken with a Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) constituted by the Government of India. It is conducting the admissions for the candidates across the country to undergraduate degree programmes in engineering, technology, and architecture based on the All India Rank obtained through class-12 and other qualifying examination and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

The CSAB 2014 is constituted to facilitate the seat allocation to students.  The NIT-Jaipur coordinates the admission to undergraduate programmes in NIT-Tiruchi. In the first phase of admission under this scheme, 213 students out of the 814 selected have reported for admission. The admission will continue till Saturday, according to M. Punniyamoorthy, Director-In-Charge, NIT-T.

He handed over the over the first admission letter to Ms. Poornima in Electronics and Communications Engineering branch.
