Hindu Munnani has lodged a complaint against Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Kamal Haasan with the Thanjavur West Police station on Saturday.
In his complaint, the Hindu Munnani’s town president, M. Balamurugan, alleged that Mr. Kamal Haasan had violated the model code of conduct during his electioneering at Aravakurichi Assembly constituency where he had made a statement hurting the sentiments of Hindus at large. He urged the police to book a case against the MNM leader under suitable sections of the Indian Penal Code. Receiving the complaint, the Thanjavur West Police issued a CSR to Balamurugan.
