Collector inspects anganwadi

Collector T. Anand made a surprise visit to an anganwadi and a noon meal centre at Kamukkakudi village panchayat in Needamangalam taluk on Wednesday.

Inspecting the quality of food served at the anganwadi and to the school children of the Panchayat Union Primary School at the noon meal centre, the Collector enquired with the children whether the food served to them on all days had the same quality with which it was offered that day.

Earlier, he istributed welfare assistances, house site pattas and other benefits to 137 beneficiaries at a mass contact programme held at the village.
