BHEL employees seek support against disinvestment move

Representatives of various employees unions of the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchi, called on T.K.Rangarajan, Communist Party of India (Marxist) and CITU vice president, to enlist support for their campaign against the Centre's move to go in for disinvestment of five per cent of the shares of the public sector major.

The unions have taken up a campaign against the disinvestment in BHEL and appealed to Mr.Rangarajan to raise the issue in the Parliament.

They also presented a memorandum to him.
