Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Jayashree Muralidharan said autism is not a disease and this defect could be identified in the initial stages itself. The parents should carefully take care of the children from three months to three years and if they found anything abnormal in their functioning during this period should immediately consult paediatricians.
