VC invited by Russian Embassy

N. Ramachandran, Vice-Chancellor of Periyar Maniammai University at Vallam near here has been invited by the Russian Embassy as one of the delegates of the 60 member team to visit Russia to take part in the Russia-India Social dialogue to be held at Moscow on November 18 and 19.

A University press release issued here on Saturday said that out of 60 delegates invited by the Russian Embassy in New Delhi throughout the country, six are from Tamil Nadu including Dr. Ramachandran.

Dr. Ramachandran is from the field of education. The delegation will meet representatives and legislative authorities of the Russian Federation. The delegation will proceed to Moscow on November 17.

“The tour will strengthen Indo-Russian relationship,” said Dr. Ramachandran.
