Students told to make best use of facilities

Students should identify their latent talents and strengthen their capabilities by taking advantage of the various facilities available in their colleges, said S. Subbaian, Registrar, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore.

He was addressing the Annual Club Day and College Day function at Anbil Dharmalingam Agricultural College and Research Institute (ADAC and RI) of the TNAU here on Saturday.

C. Udhayasooriyan, Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies, TNAU, stressed the importance of human resource development and explained the various programmes taken up by the TNAU for the same.

G. Kathiresan, Dean, ADAC and RI, highlighted the achievements of students in both academic and extra-curricular activities.

S. Geetha, Staff Advisor, Professor and Head, Crop Improvement, elaborated the achievements made by the students through club activities.

A. Sabir Ahamed, Associate Professor, presented the College Day report and A. Sekar, Students Club Secretary, presented the club report. Academic achievers were honoured.
