Reliance Communication woos youth

Reliance Communications has heralded the Aadi season by launching a comprehensive offer priced at Rs. 30 with new tariff options under the ‘Simply Reliance' Plan.

The new offer which would be effective from Saturday all over Tamil Nadu includes a SIM card with lifetime validity, talk time worth Rs. 25 and a choice of three options under First Recharge Options (FRC). Customers who avail the offer would be assigned the new ‘7 series' mobile numbers.

The three options under the FRC with one year validity are ‘pay per call' priced at Re.1 with the call rate for three minutes being Re.1, ‘pay per minute' option priced at Rs.2 with 50 paise per minute and ‘pay per second' option priced at Rs. 3 with one paise charged per second.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, Somasekhar Ganapathy, Regional Head, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Reliance Communications, said the FRC is designed for the benefit of prepaid customers.

Reliance Communications has also introduced the Rs. 19 SMS pack with one paise per SMS and Rs. 39 recharge pack with 500 SMS per day.

The telecom operator employing EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution) technology for high speed internet access has also launched two GPRS connection packs, he said.
