Postal Department releases special cover

The Postal Department released a special cover to commemorate the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Rotary Club of Tiruchirapalli Rockcity here recently.

The Postmaster General, Central Region, Tiruchi, S.P. Rajalingam, released the first special cover and handed it over to R. Ramasubbu, Associate Editor, ‘Dinamalar' at a function organised by the Rotary Club. R. Mathiazhagan, president of the Rotary Club of Tiruchirapalli Rockcity, presided over and K. K. Sampath Kumar, Chairman, Silver Jubilee Celebration committee, spoke on the services and history of the club since its inception.

Fourth club

He said that the club was the fourth club in Tiruchi to celebrate silver jubilee and thanked the Postal Department for releasing the special cover.Bhupinder Singh Ubhi, secretary of the club, also spoke.
