One person was killed and 15 others injured when two-State Transport Corporation buses collided head on at Sudukattudurai near Musiri in the early hours on Saturday. While a bus was heading to Vailankanni from Bengaluru, the other bus was on its way to Musiri from Chennai.
Sudhakar (40), driver of Musiri-bound bus, died on the spot. Others were sent to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital here. The condition of them was said to be out of danger.
